President's Letter

Minimize

Dear Choral Parents,

Welcome to the Langley Choral Guild.  We provide administrative, creative and financial support to the award-winning Langley Choral Program.  Many of the special programs that enhance your student’s choral education are only possible with your support as a Choral Guild member.

I hope you will volunteer to be a committee coordinator, a Spring Trip chaperone or to serve on a committee that interests you.  You can find more details about each volunteer opportunity under the Volunteering tab or by contacting the Committee Coordinators.  Contact information for the Guild Officers and Committee Coordinators can be found under the Guild Board tab.

Please make sure that you subscribe to our newsletter This Week in Choir.  The newsletter along with our website are the main forms of communication for the choral department.  Each week you will receive an email that contains information for students and parents about class schedules, rehearsals and activities for the upcoming week.

The Choral Guild meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the choir room.  All parents are encouraged to attend.  These meetings are a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with or reconnect with other choral parents. They are generally one-hour long and we discuss the upcoming choral activities that require parent support.

To our returning families, many thanks for your continuing support and involvement.  And to our new families, we look forward to meeting you.  Together we will make this another successful year for our choral students.

Sincerely,

Susan Bumsted
