 2009 MADRIGAL FEASTE VOLUNTEER LIST

Volunteers Needed!

The Madrigal Feaste is a big undertaking that is made possible with the help of many volunteers.  Help is needed to setup and prepare for the Feaste, as well as for each nights' production.

Many of you have already volunteered to help.  If you already volunteered to help- Thank You!  If not, it's not too late.  We still need help.  Please click the 'Volunteer' button below, or send an email to Cyndi Gray ( zmagic7@aol.com).  Please provide your name, telephone.  If you would like a specific job or night, please indicate that, also.

The following list shows the names of volunteers with their assigned jobs.  If a job has no name next to it then we still need help!  This list will be updated often, so please check back to make sure your name is included.

PRE-PRODUCTION VOLUNTEERS are needed for planning and set-up of the Feaste.

1- PROGRAM PUBLISHING MANAGER:  Susan Bumsted

2- INVITATIONS MANAGER:  Susan Bumsted

3- TICKET SALES MANAGER:  Lorri Zell

4- EXTRA LARGE VEHICLE OPERATOR to move props from Langley HS to CapitalChurch and back again.  Props include platforms, risers,  blocks, and stools. Drop off and  set-up to be completed before Thursday at 6 PM; take down Saturday evening, return to LHS on Monday :  Josh Young

5- RENTAL EQUIPMENT MANAGER to order tables, chairs, dishes, pitchers, etc:  Cyndi Gray

6- ON-SITE LIASON WITH THE CAPITAL CHURCH:  Diane Anderson

7- CATERED FOOD CHAIR is responsible for the ordering and delivery of all catered food (Boston Market, Chick-Fil-A, Pizza): Cyndi Gray

8- COSTCO SHOPPER: Cyndi Gray & Betsy Hubbell

9- DECORATIONS/SET-UP MANAGER:   Susan Bumsted

10- PRELIMINARY SET-UP CREW: Thurs from 5:30 PM to move chairs and begin decorating (need 2-3 six-foot ladders to use when decorating Christmas trees and hanging banners)

12- DRESSING ROOM CREW:  Thursday from 6 PM to set-up dressing rooms and cover room windows.  Also assign, fit, and iron as needed, performers' costumes.

14- APPLE CRISP BAKERS:  On the day of the performance, volunteers will prepare a provided apple crisp recipe in a 9x13 tin foil pan.  [GET APPLE CRISP RECIPE HERE]

15- CHEESE/BREAD/BUTTER PREPARERS: Work is done at home and brought to the Church by 5 PM.  Pre-slice cheese, bread, and butter.  Apportion bread and cheese (separately) into individual “basket” servings and place each portion into Ziploc bags.  At Church, all that needs to be done is to open the bags and dump one bag of bread and one bag of cheese per basket.  Cut butter into 8 pats/chunks on a plate, 1 plate per table.

Hot dinner items will be prepared & delivered by Boston Market and ready to serve. Kitchen crew also helps in the cleanup following the performances.

will supervise the clean-up and ensure that the Church is fully cleaned and restored:  Cyndi Gray, Steve & Diane Anderson

27- SATURDAY CLEAN-UP AND RESTORATION CREW:  Men needed to break down tables and chairs.   (This is pretty easy for husbands of dressers and kitchen crew, as usually they are around while their spouses finish.)  Sanctuary must be completely set-up for Sunday services, including vacuuming of rugs.  While the church has a few vacuums, please indicate if you are willing to bring yours from home.  The more vacuums we have, the quicker clean-up will be.  Note: Students participate in clean-up and must stay until room is clear.
