Langley Chorus

Langley’s Choral Department has a long and rich history. It consistently wins high awards at state, regional, and national competitions. Every year large numbers of Langley choir students are chosen to participate in District 12, VMEA, and All-State Honors Choirs.

Performances: The choirs perform three formal concerts during the school year, a Renaissance Feaste in early December, and a themed Spring Show (Broadway, Disney, etc.) to close out the year. Each Spring they travel to a major domestic competition or embark on an international performance tour.

The Langley HS Choral Guild was formed to support the Choral Program. We need your help. We need all parents to volunteer their talents and time to ensure our programs are successful. There are many ways to become involved:

  • Join a committee:  You can volunteer for the activity or activities that interest you. We have “How To” manuals for each of the committees that contain best practices, contacts, and suggestions for success.

  • Volunteer as-needed: For parents looking to lend support on an ad-hoc basis, there are opportunities to help at individual events and activities.

  • Lend financial support: Always a welcome means of helping our choirs! Join the Choral Guild at the Member, Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum levels. Click the yellow "Donate" button at the top to donate.

  • Attend Choral Guild meetings:  All choral parents are encouraged to attend the meetings generally held 3 times a year at 7:00 pm in the Choir Room. Please check the calendar to confirm the date, as there are times when we change the date to avoid conflicts. This is a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with other choral parents.
