We're headed to Los Angeles, CA from January 28-February 1, 2025.

2024 England and Ireland

It had been 8 years since the Langley Choirs traveled abroad and we had an amazing week in 2 beautiful countries. While in England, we performed in Canterbury Cathedral and traveled to Greenwich to sing with the Old Royal Naval College Trinity Laban Choir under the direction of Ralph Allwood. We went on the London Eye, saw Mamma Mia on West End, visited Cambridge, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower of London. In Ireland, we did an impromptu performance at St. Patrick's Cathedral and Christ Church Cathedral, and recorded a song at Windmill Lane Studios. We also participated in a masterclass at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. We saw traditional Irish dancing and had some time to explore Dublin!

2023 Miami

The Langley Choirs had a fantastic time in Miami, Florida. They performed in a masterclass with Dr. Amanda Quist at the University of Miami, participated in a workshop with members of the Grammy-nominated professional choir, Seraphic Fire, saw this choir perform with Dr. Maria Guinand conducting, and explored the many different cultural neighborhoods around the city.

2019 San Diego

Langley Chorus had an amazing trip to San Diego, March 20 - 24, 2019.  World Strides hosted a competition near Sea World and the kids had fun exploring Southern California.  All four choirs received gold medals.  Langley also received the Choral Sweepstakes trophy for having the two highest scoring choirs in the Festival.  Madrigals received the Outstanding Choral Group trophy for having the highest score of any choir.  

2018 New York City

Langley Chorus traveled to NYC, March 22-25, 2018.  Highlights included the Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, and two Broadway shows.  All four Langley choirs received Gold ratings at the WorldStrides OnStage Music Festival.   Madrigals and Concert Choir won first place in their categories and an Adjudicator's Trophy for having an average score of 95 or higher.

2017 Hollywood

Langley Chorus enjoyed a trip to Hollywood, March 22-26, 2017.  Everyone enjoyed the warm weather and had fun at Universal Studios and Disneyland. At the WorldStrides OnStage Music Festival, all four Langley choirs received Gold Medal ratings, and Concert Choir, Chamber Choir and Madrigals each won individual First Place trophies in their categories.
